Why on earth do people go fly fishing?
Q. I know some people that spend a LOT of money on custom rods and paraphernalia simply to fish for flies. What's that about? If I want to kill flies I just get a can of Yard Guard. A couple of good squirts and I've got at least a hundred nailed. No, I don't catch and release either.

A. Are you trying to bug me? I am more of a fly hunter. I use a tiny bow and arrow set and stalk my prey wearing camouflage clothing. I spray myself with pheromones to bring the flies to me. Fly hunting gives me much more of a rush than fly fishing. Gutting and butchering the critters is tough to do, but if you bring home enough you can have a real feast if you put them on the grill. Actually, I do fly fish for trout and tie my own flies. I am into insect bondage.

Q. the contract is $6100 and I had to buy the wooden rings and rods myself, the timeline is 6 wks. After 6 wks, they came to install but they couldn' t get it done because most of the blind they got were wrong measurement; they also cut the rods too short that I ended up replace some of the rods. Also, she sent email she said she will come and I took days off from work and she didn't show up. 4 months later, she sent another lady come over, this lady told me, b/c the other lady is new in business therefore she had all the measurement wrong, she will fix them for me, and at that time, I wanted to add the sheer, therefore she said she will charge me $2500 for everything, and I can deduct from the original contract with the other lady for… [cont.]

A. I would fight it. Too bad it's not in writing (I'm assuming). Give it a good shot in court. Document everything. See if you can get the deal written down still. It wouldn't hurt to ask.
