will rise from 38 up to 42 kind of hit an imaginary wall with as far as rising pressure then immediatly drop to the low 30 s and dance around This is the trouble shooting I have done When I jump this relay which is the fuel pump relay I get about 55 psi on the guage at idle and 11 8 volts at the wiring harness at the tank going to the pumps

flat as a pancake No battery charger at my folks place to even attempt to re charge the battery Took a look at the relays anyway but I m not sure which of the two is the fuel pump relay Would the fuel pump relay be the black or blue connector

Q. I am looking for the fuel pump relay on a 1990 honda accord. I want to check this before I start changing the fuel pump. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

A. it is located under the dash on the drivers side, it has seven terminals and is refered to as the main fuel injection relay. if you want to test the pump, use a paperclip to jumper the black with yellow tracer and the yellow with black tracer wires together, the pump should run. in some models of accords they used a solid yellow wire in place of the yellow/black wire. good luck.
