From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. Mechanics (Greek Μηχανική) is the branch of physics concerned with the behaviour of physical bodies when subjected to forces or displacements, and the subsequent effect of the bodies on their environment. The discipline has its roots in several ancient civilizations (see History of classical mechanics and Timeline of classical mechanics). During the early modern period, scientists such as Galileo, Kepler, and especially Newton, laid the foundation for what is now known as classical mechanics. From Wikipedia under the

Q. Also, I assume that as technology advances and more electric stuff is put into cars, mechanics in turn become more reliant upon electric equipment to check what's in the cars? Is that right? Thanks just wondering Asked by Bob - Sat Jun 27 02:16:46 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments How many mechanics does it take to do an engine flush and an oil change? Q. Went to jiffy lube Tuesday had to have an engine flush and oil change on a 95 Beretta. The oil was brown so took it to Jiffy Lube, the mechanics acted like they had never seen a Beretta before there was 4 different people working on it... Ever since then the car has been overheating. What should I do? Asked by Soul Seeker - Thu Mar 5 13:54:18 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. HI first thing I'd do is check the oil and make sure they put enough back in... Then check you coolant level. with the motor cold the coolant should be all the way to the top of the radiator (don't check it at the overflow tank) or no more than 1" from the top.. if its low add coolant. good luck tim P.S. Don't take it to Jiffy Lube. they are really unskilled people. There are lots of letters stating that they forgot to put oil back in or didn't put in enough in. good luck tim Answered by Pedal2TheMetal45 - Thu Mar 5 14:15:37 2009 What would be a good video camera to buy in order to film my pitching mechanics?
Q. I want to buy a good video camera to film my pitching mechanics but I don't want to have to spend too much money. The frame rate has to be good so that it gives a smooth and clear video so that I can see the details of my pitching motion. Any ideas? Asked by ehakey - Mon Jul 7 12:52:59 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. I have no idea how much you want to spend, but this sounds EXACTLY like the kind of thing the Exilim EX-F1 is meant for. It is a hybrid digital camera/camcorder. It can shoot super slow mo video for a few seconds, perfect for analyzing motion like pitches. It's almost $1,000, though. When your done analyzing pitches you can go take photographs of games with this too, so it's perhaps worth it. If that's too expensive, then you should go with the cheapest progressive camcorder you can find. Progressive looks better than interlaced in slow-mo. If you want HD, look for 720p or 1080p, not 720i or 1080i. The p stands for progressive, the i for interlaced. Google "cheap progressive camcorder" or something.
